Cooking Matters is a free, six-week-long cooking and nutrition series for low-income families in Genesee County. Classes are taught by Michigan State University Extension nutrition professionals and volunteer chefs.

We served 2 meals a day at the North End Soup Kitchen. Our 2nd shift, 2PM to 5:30PM is looking for many volunteers. Our 2nd shift runs Monday through Saturday and need up to 10 people per day.
All the food programs of Catholic Charities, 7 in all, will serve about 500-700 meals per day.
