What We Do
Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties has been Providing Help and Creating Hope for those in need since 1941. This diverse social services agency offers an array of programs across two counties, including counseling, substance use treatment, foster care and adoption, as well as prevention and education programs. In addition, we operate three soup kitchens, a seasonal warming center, two community closets, and three sandwich programs. We serve all people, regardless of faith.

The North End Soup Kitchen is located at 735 Stewart Ave., Flint, MI, 48501.
The South End Soup Kitchen is located at Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, 3410 Fenton Rd, Flint, 48507.
Center for Hope is located at 517 E. 5th Ave., Flint, 48503. This includes the Community Closet, Holy Angels Soup Kitchen, Adolescent Treatment Services, the Resource Genesee MAT, the St. Christopher Medical Transport Program, and community outreach caseworkers.
The Main Office is located at 901 Chippewa, Flint, 48503. Administrative offices and group/individual counseling.
