What We Do

We recruit and train compassionate volunteers from the local community and place them with patients and families in need of companionship and care-giver respite.

Becoming a Hospice Volunteer can be one of the most selfless and rewarding things you'll ever do. There are many ways you can get involved and donate your time locally. You do not need any medical skills; our volunteers only offer companionship. For example: You can sit and listen, pray together, just talk, listen to music, read a book, write letters, play a game, share a common hobby, become a pet therapist, do some light housekeeping or provide relief to a caregiver. You can do one, some or all of these things all in as short as an hour a week for as little as twice a month or more if you'd like. We provide free professional training, the opportunity to affect a life and a chance to gain relationships that will change you forever!
