Whaley Historic House Museum

Who We Are

Step into Flint's Past at the Whaley Historic House Museum! The Museum manages the former home of Flint's Whaley family and presents visitors with a glimpse of what life was like during America's Gilded Age. We seek to inspire historical curiosity about Flint and America's past in our visitors.

What We Do

Visitors can tour the family home during regularly scheduled tour dates, but the Museum also hosts a number of special programs and exhibits throughout the year. Enjoy a cozy Gilded Age Christmas during December or feel chills crawl up your spine during our October programming. Additionally, the house is available for rentals. We seek to exist as a laboratory for learning in the Flint community.
