What We Do

Each year, more than 20,000 people chose Hurley for their inpatient hospital care. As the largest medical center in Genesee County and the region’s only Level 1 trauma center Hurley’s emergency department handles over 80,000 annual emergency cases.

Hurley Medical Center is Flint’s only public safety-net hospital, which provides over 66% of the community’s uncompensated health care to citizens with little or no health insurance at a cost last year of $30 million.

West: Take I-69 east to I-475 exit. Follow I-475 north to Longway Boulevard exit. Turn left (west) at the first stop light (Long Boulevard).

South I-75: take I-75 north to I-475 North. Follow I-475 north to the Longway Boulevard exit. Turn left at the first stop light. (Long Boulevard)

South US-23: Take US-23 north to I-69 east. Follow I-69 east to I-475 exit. Take I-475 north to Longway Boulevard exit. Turn left at the first stop light. (Long Boulevard)

North: Take I-75 south to I-475 sout. Follow I-475 south to Longway Boulevard exit. Take the first right turn of the exit ramp. (Long Boulevard)

East: Take I-69 west to the I-475 exit. Follow I-475 north to Longway Boulevard exit. Turn left at the first stop light. (Long Boulevard)
