Our agency wants to learn more about HandsOn Genesee and how to use this site. What do we do?
Begin by reviewing this web site. Register as a partner organization. We will approve that application and then you'll be able to post volunteer opportunities. Initially we'll also approve your volunteer opportunities but once we see that you know how to use the system you can post volunteer positions without approval each time. We also run orientation sessions. Contact us to sign up for one.

I can’t sign in to the admin site.
Remember that your user name is your full email address. You can also reset your password by hitting "Forgot Password." If you still need assistance, contact us: Julia Zaher, Director, HandsOn Genesee.I’m taking over for _____ as volunteer coordinator and I need to access our account, but _____ didn’t leave any log-in information.
No problem. Contact us and we will add you as a contact for the organization, provide you with your own unique log-in and password and set up a time to train you on the system. Julia Zaher, Director, HandsOn Genesee.
I’m curious to learn more about HandsOn Genesee and figure out how to post volunteer opportunities with you.
Begin by creating a partner profile on this site. We'll contact you to set up a time to train you to use the site. Trainings are designed to acquaint you with how HandsOn Genesee works. We'll teach you the basics of navigating our admin site to post/edit your agency’s volunteer opportunities.
I posted a referral opportunity with you and haven’t received any emails. Why am I not getting any volunteers? What can I do to attract more people to the opportunity?
Referral opportunities tend to get slightly less press. However, many volunteers come to our site looking for longer term, specialized, or fundraising types of volunteer opportunities, and it’s through the search box that they find your event. Make sure you include keywords in your title and description. Give the title catchy boosts that will make potential volunteers want to click and learn more!
